Create your playbook

To start coordinating your workflow between Calendly and Slack, you must set up specific steps.

Firstly, sign up for and visit your dashboard. Click the "New playbook" button to start creating a playbook.

Give your playbook a unique name like "Send Slack direct messages of any upcoming Calendly events," and choose a relevant emoji 📨 to help you quickly identify it.


Set the Calendly trigger as “Event upcoming”

Add the Calendly trigger to initiate your playbook's actions for the upcoming events.

To do this, click "Add trigger" in your playbook. Select the "Event upcoming" trigger option from the dropdown menu under Calendly. It will enable your playbook to automatically identify new upcoming events and trigger necessary actions.

Add the “Send DM” step in Slack
