Set the Asana trigger as "Task completed"

Every playbook starts with a trigger. The trigger detects changes in your connected apps and initiates your playbook's actions.

Click "Add trigger" and select "Task completed" under Asana automation. Then, select the project. This will allow your playbook to automatically detect completed tasks in Asana and initiate necessary actions.

If this is your first time using an Asana integration in the Relay.app, a prompt will guide you through the connection process.

2

Add the "Update page" in Notion automation

Integrate the Notion automation into your playbook to ensure the prompt update of the page for each task completed in Asana.

Click the "Add step" button, then locate the "Update page" automation for Notion and input the mandatory and relevant details.

If your Notion account isn't already connected to Relay.app, you will be prompted to complete that connection. Make sure to allow the necessary permissions for Relay.app to sync with your Notion account.

3

Activate your Relay.app playbook

Activating your playbook is the final step to automate the automatic updates of the Notion page. Once turned on, it will respond to the completed task in Asana by updating the corresponding Notion page without manual intervention.

To enable your playbook, click the toggle button located in the header. It is advisable to perform a test run of your playbook beforehand to ensure all steps work seamlessly together and reminders are being sent correctly.
