Set the Asana trigger as "Task completed"

Every playbook starts with a trigger. The trigger detects changes in your connected apps and initiates your playbook's actions.

Click "Add trigger" and select "Task completed" under Asana automation. Then, select a project. This will allow your playbook to automatically detect all the tasks completed in Asana and initiate necessary actions.

If this is your first time using an Asana integration in Relay.app, a prompt will guide you through the connection process.

2

Add the "Create page" in Notion automation

Integrate the Notion automation into your playbook to ensure the prompt creation of a new page for completed tasks in Asana.

Select the "Add step" button, then locate the "Create page" automation for Notion and input the mandatory and relevant details.

If your Notion account isn't already connected to Relay.app, you will be prompted to complete that connection. Make sure to allow the necessary permissions for Relay.app to create a page through your Notion account.

3

Activate your Relay.app playbook

Activating your playbook is the final step to automate the creation of Notion pages. Once turned on, it will respond to completed tasks in Asana by creating new pages in Notion without manual intervention.

To enable your playbook, click the toggle button located in the header. It is advisable to perform a test run of your playbook beforehand to ensure all steps work seamlessly together and reminders are being sent correctly.
