Set the Google Forms trigger as “Form response submitted”

Add the Google Forms trigger to initiate your playbook's actions before submitting a form.

To do this, click "Add trigger" in your playbook and select the "Form response submitted" trigger from the Google Forms options. Then, choose the specific form you want to work with (e.g., "Contacts Information"). This will allow your playbook to identify new form submissions and automatically perform the necessary actions.

If you still need to connect your Google Forms account to Relay, a prompt will guide you through the connection process.

Select "Add Step" and then find the "Send DM" automation for Slack. Enter all the required details, including the sender's name, the recipient's name, the Slack channel, and the message body containing detailed information.

If you still need to connect your Slack account to Relay, you will be prompted to complete that connection. Ensure that you allow the necessary permissions for Relay to send messages through your Slack account.

3

Activate your playbook

Activating your playbook is the final step. Once turned on, it will respond to send Slack DMs for new Google Forms responses without manual intervention.
