How to create a new contact in Apollo from a new deal stage reached in HubSpot

Set the HubSpot trigger as "Deal stage reached"

Every playbook starts with a trigger. The trigger detects changes in your connected apps and initiates your playbook's actions.

Click "Add trigger" and select "Deal stage reached" under HubSpot automation. Then, select the Pipeline and Stage. This will allow your playbook to automatically detect the deal stage reached in HubSpot and initiate necessary actions.

Add the "Create contact" in Apollo automation

Integrate the Apollo automation into your playbook to ensure the prompt creation of a new contract for each deal stage change in HubSpot.

Click the "Add step" button, then locate the "Create contact" automation for Apollo and input the mandatory and relevant details.

If your Apollo account isn't already connected to Relay.app, you will be prompted to complete that connection. Make sure to allow the necessary permissions for Relay.app to sync with your Apollo account.

Activate your Relay.app playbook

Activating your playbook is the final step to automate the moving of the creation of a new contact in Apollo. Once turned on, it will respond when a certain deal stage is reached in HubSpot by creating a new contact in Apollo without manual intervention.

To enable your playbook, click the toggle button located in the header. It is advisable to perform a test run of your playbook beforehand to ensure all steps work seamlessly together and reminders are being sent correctly.
