How to automatically sync Pipedrive leads to Google Sheets in real time

Manual data entry is often subject to human errors, thereby resulting in delays and oversights when updating the spreadsheet with the latest lead information. The manual approach not only consumes valuable time but also increases the risk of inconsistencies and inaccuracies, potentially leading to missed opportunities or the mishandling of critical lead details. Additionally, it may contribute to a disjointed and less organized lead management process, hindering the team's ability to promptly and effectively engage with new leads. With Relay, you can easily sync new leads from Pipedrive with your Google Sheets in real-time, ensuring up-to-date tracking and organization of lead information. In this guide, we’ll show you how to set this integration up in four easy steps. Let's get started!

1

Create your Relay playbook

To start coordinating between Pipedrive and Google Sheets for your workflow, you need to set up certain steps.

Firstly, sign up for Relay and visit your dashboard. Click the "New playbook" button to start creating a playbook.

Give your playbook a unique name like "Sync Pipedrive leads to Google Sheets instantly" and choose a relevant emoji ✍🏻, to help you quickly identify it.

2

Set the Pipedrive trigger as “Lead added”

Add the Pipedrive trigger to initiate your playbook's actions.

To do this, click "Add trigger" in your playbook. Select the "Lead added" trigger option from the dropdown menu under Pipedrive. It will enable your playbook to identify newly added leads and trigger necessary actions automatically.

If you have yet to connect your Pipedrive account to Relay, a prompt will guide you through the connection process.

3

Add the “Add row to sheet” automation in Google Sheets

Integrate the Google Sheets automation to instantly add rows from new Pipedrive deals.

Select "Add Step" and search for the "Add row to sheet" automation. Then, choose the table and sheet where you want to add the row - let's say it's the "Leads" table. Once you've selected the table, click on all the relevant fields and fill in the necessary details, such as the first name, label, last name, notes, organization, person, phone, and title

If you still need to connect your Google Sheets account to Relay, you will be prompted to complete that connection. Make sure to allow the necessary permissions for Relay to add rows through your Google Sheets account.

4

Activate your playbook

Activating your playbook is the last step to add a row for your leads' record from Pipedrive to Google Sheets without manual intervention.

To activate your playbook, click the toggle button in the header. Before starting it, we recommend running a test to ensure all the steps work seamlessly together.
