How to automate Ashby interview scheduling from Calendly events
Create your playbook
To automate this workflow, you'll create a Relay playbook that runs automatically every time a new event is scheduled in Calendly.
Get started by signing up at Relay.app and clicking "New playbook." Give your new playbook a unique name and emoji.
Add the Calendly trigger
Every playbook starts with a trigger. The trigger detects changes in your connected apps and runs your playbook in response.
Click "Add trigger" and select "Newly scheduled events" under Calendly. Then, select event type, additional event types, and also trigger for events scheduled in other people's calendars. If this is your first time using a Calendly integration in Relay, you'll be prompted to connect your Calendly account.
Now, every time a new event is scheduled in Calendly, your playbook will run automatically.
Add the Ashby Create interview schedule automation
Now you can create a new interview schedule in Ashby. Add a new step and select "Create interview schedule" from the list of Ashby automations.
Connect Ashby to Relay if you haven't already, then fill out the details like application, interviewers, start date/time, and end date/time. You can reference fields from Calendly to automatically pass along the right data.
Turn on the playbook
When you are done with the playbook, it's time to turn it on.
The playbook will now run automatically whenever a new event is scheduled in Calendly. You can also click "Check now" to do a manual check whenever you'd like.
