How to synchronize new records in Airtable with notes in HubSpot

Have you ever found yourself needing help generating notes in HubSpot manually? It can be quite a tedious and error-prone task, especially when dealing with large amounts of records. The main challenge here is ensuring that each record accurately and consistently matches with its corresponding note. With Relay, you can automate adding new records in Airtable as notes in HubSpot without any manual intervention. It means you can now spend more time on other important tasks while Relay takes care of this process. In this guide, we'll show you how to set this integration up in four easy steps so you'll never feel exhausted again and again.

Set the Airtable trigger as “Record created”

Add the Airtable trigger to initiate your playbook's actions.

To do this, click "Add trigger" in your playbook. Select the "Record created" trigger option from the dropdown menu under Airtable. Next, choose the target table, which, in this case, is "Newly created Deals." It will enable your playbook to automatically identify newly created records and trigger necessary actions.

If you have yet to connect your Airtable account to Relay, a prompt will guide you through the connection process.

Add the “Create note” step in HubSpot

Integrate the HubSpot automation into your playbook.

Select "Add Step" and locate the "Create note" automation for HubSpot. Then, enter all the relevant details, including the Content, Associated contacts, Associated companies and Associated deals.

If you still need to connect your HubSpot account to Relay, you will be prompted to complete that connection. Make sure to allow the necessary permissions for Relay to create a ticket through your HubSpot account.

Activate your playbook

Activating your playbook is the last step to automate the creation of notes in HubSpot for new Airtable records without manual intervention.

To activate your playbook, click the toggle button in the header. Before starting it, we recommend running a test to ensure all the steps work seamlessly together.
