Set the Airtable trigger as “Record created”

Add the Airtable trigger to initiate your playbook's actions.

To do this, click "Add trigger" in your playbook. Select the "Record created" trigger option from the dropdown menu under Airtable. Next, choose the target table, which, in this case, should be "Newly created Deals." It will enable your playbook to automatically identify newly created records and trigger necessary actions.

If you have yet to connect your Airtable account to Relay, a prompt will guide you through the connection process.

Add the “Create deal” step in HubSpot

Integrate the HubSpot automation into your playbook for seamless deal creation in HubSpot.

Select "Add Step" and locate the "Create deal" automation for HubSpot. Then, enter all the relevant details, including the Pipeline, Name, Stage, Owner, Associated company, and Associated contacts.

If you still need to connect your HubSpot account to Relay, you will be prompted to complete that connection. Make sure to allow the necessary permissions for Relay to create a deal through your HubSpot account.

Activate your playbook

Activating your playbook is the last step to automate the creation of deals in HubSpot for new Airtable records without manual intervention.

To activate your playbook, click the toggle button in the header. Before starting it, we recommend running a test to ensure all the steps work seamlessly together.
