1

Add the Mailchimp trigger

Every playbook starts with a trigger. The trigger detects changes in your connected apps and runs your playbook in response.

Click "Add trigger" and select "New subscriber" under Mailchimp. Then, select your desired audience. If this is your first time using a Mailchimp integration in Relay, you'll be prompted to connect your Mailchimp account.

Now, whenever a new subscriber joins in Mailchimp, your playbook will run automatically.

2

Add the Attio Create or update record automation

Now you can create or update a record in Attio. Add a new step and select "Create or update record" from the list of Attio automations.

Connect Attio to Relay if you haven't already, then fill out details like the object type, matching attribute, and other attributes. You can reference fields from Mailchimp to automatically pass along the right data.

3

Turn on the playbook

When you are done with the playbook, it's time to activate it.

The playbook will now run automatically whenever a new subscriber is added to Mailchimp. You can also click "Check now" to perform a manual check whenever you'd like.
