How to integrate Typeform responses into your Slack channels

Set the Typeform trigger as “New response”

Add the Typeform trigger to initiate your playbook's actions.

To do this, click "Add trigger" in your playbook. Select the "New response" trigger option from the dropdown menu under Typeform, then select a specific form, which in this case is "Waitlist." It will enable your playbook to automatically identify new response submissions and trigger necessary actions.

If you have yet to connect your Typeform account to Relay, a prompt will guide you through the connection process.

2

Add the “Add to channel” automation in Slack

Integrate the Slack automation into your playbook to ensure an instant response is added to a channel.

Select "Add Step" and then search for the "Add to channel" automation under Slack. Fill in all the relevant details, including certain channel and people to add.

If you still need to connect your Slack account to Relay, you will be prompted to complete that connection. Make sure to allow the necessary permissions for Relay to add responses to channel through your Slack account.

3

Activate your playbook

Activating your playbook is the last step in your automation process. Once you turn it on, the playbook integrates Typeform responses into Slack channels without manual intervention.

To activate your playbook, click the toggle button in the header. Before starting it, we recommend running a test to ensure all the steps work seamlessly together.
