Set the CallRail trigger as "New inbound call"

Every playbook starts with a trigger. The trigger detects changes in your connected apps and runs your playbook in response.

Click "Add trigger" and select "New inbound call" under CallRail. Then, select the account you wish to monitor. This trigger will automatically detect all the new inbound calls in CallRail to create a new activity in Pipedrive.

If this is your first time using a CallRail integration in Relay, you'll be prompted to connect your CallRail account.

2

Add the "Get or create contact" in HubSpot automation

Integrate the HubSpot automation into your playbook to ensure the prompt creation of new contacts in HubSpot for every new inbound call logged in CallRail.

Click the "Add step" button, then locate the "Get or create contact" from the list of HubSpot automation and input the mandatory and relevant details.

If your HubSpot account isn't already connected to Relay.app, you will be prompted to complete that connection. Make sure to allow the necessary permissions for Relay.app to sync with your HubSpot account.

3

Activate your Relay.app playbook

Activating your playbook is the final step to automate the creation of a new contact in HubSpot. Once turned on, it will respond to a new inbound call logged in CallRail by creating a corresponding contact record in HubSpot without manual intervention.

To enable your playbook, click the toggle button located in the header. It is advisable to perform a test run of your playbook beforehand to ensure all steps work seamlessly together and reminders are being sent correctly.
