Set the Pipedrive trigger as “Activity added”

Add the Pipedrive trigger to initiate your playbook's actions before adding an activity.

To do this, click "Add trigger" in your playbook. Select the "Activity added" trigger option from the dropdown menu under Pipedrive. It will enable your playbook to identify newly added activities and trigger necessary actions automatically.

If you still need to connect your Pipedrive account to, a prompt will guide you through the connection process.


Add the “Send DM” step in Slack

Integrate Slack automation into your playbook to ensure that you receive timely updates on the newly added activity in Pipedrive.

Select "Add Step" and then find the "Send DM" automation for Slack. Enter all the required details, including the receiver's name, and the message body containing detailed information.

If you still need to connect your Slack account to, you will be prompted to complete that connection. Ensure that you allow the necessary permissions for to send direct messages through your Slack account.


Activate your playbook

Activating your playbook is the last step. Once you turn it on, the playbook automatically sends Slack DMs for new Pipedrive activities without manual intervention.

To enable your playbook, click the toggle button located in the header. It is advisable to perform a test run of your playbook beforehand to ensure all steps work seamlessly together.
