1

Create your Relay.app playbook

To start coordinating your workflow between Stripe and Google Sheets, you must set up specific steps.

Firstly, sign up for Relay.app and visit your dashboard. Click the "New playbook" button to start creating a playbook.

Give your playbook a unique name like "Add new Stripe subscriptions to Google Sheets rows," and choose a relevant emoji like 🗒 to help you quickly identify it.

2

Set the Stripe trigger as “Subscription created”

Add the Stripe trigger to initiate your playbook's actions every time a new subscription is created.

To do this, click "Add trigger" in your playbook. Select the "Subscription created" trigger option from the dropdown menu under Stripe. It will enable your playbook to automatically identify newly created subscriptions and trigger necessary actions.

If you still need to connect your Stripe account to Relay.app, a prompt will guide you through the connection process.

3

Add the “Add row to sheet” step in Google Sheets

Integrate Google Sheets automation to add new Stripe subscriptions instantly.

Select "Add Step" and find the "Add row to sheet" automation for Google Sheets. Enter all the required details such as Customer name, Product amount, Items, Start date, and Summary.

If you still need to connect your Google Sheets account to Relay.app, you will be prompted to complete that connection. Ensure that you allow the necessary permissions for Relay.app to add a row to a sheet through your Google Sheets account.

4

Activate your playbook

Activating your playbook is the last step in the process. Once you turn it on, it will automatically add new Stripe subscriptions to Google Sheets rows without requiring manual intervention.

To activate your playbook, click the toggle button at the header. Before activating, we recommend performing a test run of your playbook to ensure all the steps work seamlessly together.
