How to add person records to Attio for new Tally submissions

Learn to set up a Relay playbook that creates or updates records in Attio with data from new form submissions in Tally

1

Create your playbook

To automate this workflow, you'll create a Relay playbook that runs automatically every time there is a new form submission in Tally.

Get started by signing up at Relay.app and clicking "New playbook." Give your new playbook a unique name and emoji.

2

Add the Tally trigger

Every playbook starts with a trigger. The trigger detects changes in your connected apps and runs your playbook in response.

Click "Add trigger" and select "New form submission" under Tally. Then, select the form you want to monitor. If this is your first time using a Tally integration in Relay, you'll be prompted to connect your Tally account.

Now, every time there is a new form submission in Tally, your playbook will run automatically.

3

Add the Attio Create or update record automation

Now you can add records or update existing ones in Attio to reflect your Tally form submissions. Add a new step and select "Create or update record" from the list of Attio automations.

Connect Attio to Relay if you haven't already, then fill out the necessary information such as Object, Matching attribute, and Attributes. You can reference fields from Tally to automatically pass along the appropriate data including names and email addresses.

4

Turn on the playbook

When you have configured the playbook to your satisfaction, it's time to activate it.

The playbook will now operate on its own each time there is a new form submission in Tally. If you wish to run an immediate check, you can click "Check now" to perform a manual invocation of the playbook.
