How to add new bookings as Attio person records

Learn how to configure a Relay playbook that automatically creates or updates person records in Attio with the new booking details from, including name and email.

Create your playbook

To automate this workflow, you'll create a Relay playbook that runs automatically every time there's a new booking in

Get started by signing up at and clicking "New playbook." Give your new playbook a unique name and emoji.


Add the trigger

Every playbook starts with a trigger. The trigger detects changes in your connected apps and runs your playbook in response.

Click "Add trigger" and select "New booking" under Then, choose the event type you want to trigger the playbook. If this is your first time using a integration in Relay, you'll be prompted to connect your account.

Now, every time there's a new booking in, your playbook will run automatically.


Add the Attio Create or update record automation

Now you can add a new record or update an existing one in Attio. Add a new step and select "Create or update record" from the list of Attio automations.

Connect Attio to Relay if you haven't already, then fill out details such as the object type, the matching attribute, and the attributes you want to update or create. You can reference fields from to automatically pass along the right data.


Turn on the playbook

When you are done with the playbook, it's time to turn it on.

The playbook will now run automatically whenever there is a new booking in You can also click "Check now" to do a manual check whenever you'd like.
