How to add Cal.com bookings as subscribers in Mailchimp
Create your playbook
To automate this workflow, you'll create a Relay playbook that activates whenever there's a new booking in Cal.com.
Get started by signing up at Relay.app and clicking "New playbook." Give your new playbook a unique name and emoji.
Add the Cal.com trigger
Every playbook starts with a trigger. The trigger detects changes in your connected apps and runs your playbook in response.
Click "Add trigger" and select "New booking" under Cal.com. Then, select the event type you want to monitor. If this is your first time using a Cal.com integration in Relay, you'll be prompted to connect your Cal.com account.
Now, every time there's a new booking in Cal.com, your playbook will be set into motion automatically.
Add the Mailchimp Add subscriber to list automation
Now you can add new subscribers to your Mailchimp list directly from your Relay playbook. Add a new step and select "Add subscriber to list" from the Mailchimp automations options.
If your Mailchimp account isn't already connected to Relay, you'll need to do that first. Once connected, provide the necessary information such as the audience and email address. Use the available data from Cal.com to automatically fill in the relevant details.
Turn on the playbook
When you are done with the playbook, it's time to set it live.
The playbook will now operate on its own whenever there is a new booking in Cal.com. You also have the option to click "Check now" to initiate a manual run of the playbook at any moment you prefer.
