How to sync AirTable record changes with Trello cards
Add the AirTable "Record changed" trigger
Every playbook starts with a trigger. The trigger detects changes in your connected apps and runs your playbook in response.
Click "Add trigger" and select "Record changed" under AirTable. Then, select the table and fields. This trigger will automatically detect all the new changes in AirTable records to update the corresponding card in Trello.
If this is your first time using an AirTable integration in Relay, you'll be prompted to connect your AirTable account.
Add the Trello "Add card to list" & "Update card" automation
Integrate the Trello automation into your playbook to ensure prompt update of cards in Trello for every record change in AirTable. Add a new step and select "Add card to list" and "Update card", both are from the list of Trello automations.
Connect Trello to Relay if you haven't already, then fill out the mandatory and relevant details. You can reference fields from AirTable to automatically pass along the right data.
Turn on the playbook
Activating your playbook is the final step to automate updating the Trello card for every record change in AirTable. Once turned on, it will respond to record changes in AirTable by updating the corresponding card in Trello without manual intervention.
To enable your playbook, click the toggle button located in the header. It is advisable to perform a test run of your playbook beforehand to ensure all steps work seamlessly together and reminders are sent correctly.
