Set the Front trigger as "Conversation is assigned"

Every playbook starts with a trigger. The trigger detects changes in your connected apps and initiates your playbook's actions.

Click "Add trigger" and select "Conversation is assigned" under Front automation. Then, select the relevant team or inbox. This will allow your playbook to automatically detect new assigned conversations in Front and initiate necessary actions.

If this is your first time using a Front integration in Relay.app, a prompt will guide you through the connection process.

2

Add the "Send message" in Slack automation

Integrate the Slack automation into your playbook to ensure a message is promptly sent for each conversation assigned in Front.

Click the "Add step" button, then locate the "Send message" automation for Slack and input the mandatory and relevant details.

If your Slack account isn't already connected to Relay.app, you will be prompted to complete that connection. Make sure to allow the necessary permissions for Relay.app to sync with your Slack account.

3

Activate your Relay.app playbook

Activating your playbook is the final step to automate the sending of new messages in Slack. Once turned on, it will respond to a conversation that is assigned via Front by sending a message notification in Slack without manual intervention.

To enable your playbook, click the toggle button located in the header. It is advisable to perform a test run of your playbook beforehand to ensure all steps work seamlessly together and reminders are being sent correctly.
