How to create new tasks in ClickUp from new Pipedrive leads

Create your playbook

To automate this workflow, you'll create a Relay playbook that runs automatically every time a new lead is added in Pipedrive.

Get started by signing up at Relay.app and clicking "New playbook." Give your new playbook a unique name and emoji.

Add the Pipedrive "Lead added" trigger

Every playbook starts with a trigger. The trigger detects changes in your connected apps and runs your playbook in response.

Click "Add trigger" and select "Lead added" under Pipedrive. Then, select the necessary details. This trigger will automatically detect all the new leads added in Pipedrive to create tasks in ClickUp.

If this is your first time using a Pipedrive integration in Relay, you'll be prompted to connect your Pipedrive account.

Add the ClickUp "Create task" automation

Integrate the ClickUp automation into your playbook to ensure prompt creation of tasks in ClickUp for new leads in Pipedrive. Add a new step and select "Create task" from the list of ClickUp automations.

Connect ClickUp to Relay if you haven't already, then fill out the mandatory and relevant details. You can reference fields from Pipedrive to automatically pass along the right data.

Turn on the playbook

Activating your playbook is the final step to automate creating tasks in ClickUp for every new lead in Pipedrive. Once turned on, it will respond to new leads added in Pipedrive by creating new tasks in ClickUp without manual intervention.

To enable your playbook, click the toggle button located in the header. It is advisable to perform a test run of your playbook beforehand to ensure all steps work seamlessly together and reminders are being sent correctly.
