1

Add the Trello "Card added" trigger

Every playbook starts with a trigger. The trigger detects changes in your connected apps and runs your playbook in response.

Click "Add trigger" and select "Card added" under Trello. Then, select the list. This trigger will automatically detect all the new cards added in Trello to create new customers in Stripe.

If this is your first time using a Trello integration in Relay, you'll be prompted to connect your Trello account.

2

Add the Stripe "Create customer" automation

Integrate the Stripe automation into your playbook to ensure the prompt creation of a new customer in Stripe for a new Trello card added to the list. Add a new step and select "Create customer" from the list of Stripe automations.

Connect Stripe to Relay if you haven't already, then fill out the mandatory and relevant details. You can reference fields from Trello to automatically pass along the right data.

3

Turn on the playbook

Activating your playbook is the final step to automate creating new customers in Stripe for every new card added to the Trello list. Once turned on, it will respond to the new card added to the Trello list by creating a new customer in Stripe without manual intervention.

To enable your playbook, click the toggle button located in the header. It is advisable to perform a test run of your playbook beforehand to ensure all steps work seamlessly together and reminders are sent correctly.
