How to automatically update Asana tasks when rows in Coda table are changed

After creating your playbook, you can proceed to add your trigger. The trigger detects changes in your connected apps and responds to your playbook.

To setup this playbook, click "Add trigger" and then select "Row changed" under Coda. Then, select details like Table and Changes. This will allow your playbook to automatically detect the newly changed row in Coda and initiate necessary actions.

If this is your first time using a Coda integration in Relay.app, a prompt will guide you through the connection process.

Integrate the Asana automation into your playbook to ensure the prompt update of the specific task whenever a row is changed in Coda.

Click the "Add step" button, then locate the "Find task(s)" to identify which task will be updated. Then, select "Update task" automation for Asana and input the mandatory and relevant details to ensure the prompt update of the specified task.

If your Asana account isn't already connected to Relay.app, you will be prompted to complete that connection. Make sure to allow the necessary permissions for Relay.app to sync with your Asana account.

Activating your playbook is the final step to automate updating the specified task in Asana. Once turned on, it will respond to each changed row in Coda by updating the specific task in Asana without manual intervention.

To enable your playbook, click the toggle button located in the header. It is advisable to perform a test run of your playbook beforehand to ensure all steps work seamlessly together and reminders are being sent correctly.
