How to add the HubSpot form respondent as a new customer in Paddle

Set the HubSpot trigger as "New form submission"

Every playbook starts with a trigger. The trigger detects changes in your connected apps and runs your playbook in response.

Click "Add trigger" and select "New form submission" under HubSpot. This will allow your playbook to automatically detect the new form submitted in HubSpot and initiate necessary actions.

Add the "Get or create customer" in Paddle automation

Integrate the Paddle automation into your playbook to ensure the prompt creation of a new customer for each respondent who submitted a new form in HubSpot.

Click the "Add step" button, then locate the "Get or create customer" automation for Paddle and input the mandatory and relevant details.

If your Paddle account isn't already connected to, you will be prompted to complete that connection. Make sure to allow the necessary permissions for to sync with your Paddle account.


Activate your playbook

Activating your playbook is the final step to automate the creation of a new customer in Paddle. Once turned on, it will respond whenever a respondent submits a form in HubSpot by creating a new customer for the respondent in Paddle without manual intervention.

To enable your playbook, click the toggle button located in the header. It is advisable to perform a test run of your playbook beforehand to ensure all steps work seamlessly together and reminders are being sent correctly.
