1

Create your playbook

To automate this workflow, you'll create a Relay playbook that runs automatically every time a recipient unsubscribes in Lemlist.

Get started by signing up at Relay.app and clicking "New playbook." Give your new playbook a unique name and emoji.

2

Add the Lemlist "Unsubscribed recipient" trigger

Every playbook starts with a trigger. The trigger detects changes in your connected apps and runs your playbook in response.

Click "Add trigger" and select "Unsubscribed recipient" under Lemlist. Then, select the necessary fields. This trigger will automatically detect all the recipients that unsubscribed in Lemlist to add new rows in Google Sheets to keep track of the cancelled subscribers.

If this is your first time using a Lemlist integration in Relay, you'll be prompted to connect your Lemlist account.

3

Add the Google Sheets "Add row to sheet" automation

Integrate the Google Sheets automation into your playbook to ensure the prompt addition of a new row to a Google Sheets document with data for every unsubscribed recipient in Lemlist. Add a new step and select "Add row to sheet" from the list of Google Sheets automations.

Connect Google Sheets to Relay if you haven't already, then fill out the mandatory and relevant details. You can reference fields from Lemlist to automatically pass along the right data.

4

Turn on the playbook

Activating your playbook is the final step to automate adding a new row in Google Sheets for every unsubscribed recipient in Lemlist. Once turned on, it will respond to every unsubscribed recipient in Lemlist by adding a new row in Google Sheets without manual intervention.

To enable your playbook, click the toggle button located in the header. It is advisable to perform a test run of your playbook beforehand to ensure all steps work seamlessly together and reminders are sent correctly.
