LinkedIn engagement tracker

Steps in this workflow
If you post content on LinkedIn, you should definitely check out this AI workflow to track and improve your performance.
Here's how it works:
- It runs every 2 weeks and pulls updated stats on your last 50 LinkedIn posts
- It will keep a running spreadsheet up to date with both basic information about the post (e.g. topic, day of week, time of day) and the post performance (comments and reactions).
- It will then send you an analysis of any patterns it observes in your high performing posts.

Activates the workflow automatically every month on the 27th at 8:00 AM. This scheduled trigger ensures regular collection and analysis of LinkedIn performance data without manual intervention.

Retrieves LinkedIn posts from the specified profile URL. Only the most recent post is collected during each run, providing fresh data for analysis.

Creates a loop to process each LinkedIn post individually. This ensures each post gets proper tracking and analysis through the subsequent steps.

Searches the Google Sheet for an existing entry matching the current LinkedIn post URL. This check determines whether to update an existing record or create a new one in later steps.

Updates engagement metrics for posts that already exist in the spreadsheet. Comments and reactions are refreshed with the latest values from LinkedIn.

Locates the LinkedIn Performance Tracker spreadsheet to prepare for analysis. This ensures the AI has access to the complete dataset of tracked posts.

Analyzes all tracked posts to identify patterns in performance based on day of week, time of day, and content. The AI creates a formatted report with insights about what factors contribute to higher engagement.

Sends the performance analysis report to the designated Slack channel. Team members receive regular insights about LinkedIn posting strategies without having to review the raw data.
