How to send DocuSign envelopes whenever a new organization is added in Pipedrive

Using Relay automation, you can automatically send out envelopes to your new contacts as soon as they're added to your Pipedrive account. This integration will save you time and effort, eliminating the need for manual data entry and document preparation. Create your Relay playbook

To start coordinating between Pipedrive and DocuSign for your workflow, you need to set up certain steps.

Firstly, sign up for Relay and visit your dashboard. Click the "New playbook" button to start creating a playbook.

Give your playbook a unique name like "Send DocuSign envelopes for new Pipedrive organizations," and select a relevant emoji (such as đź“‚) to help you find it easily.

Set the Pipedrive trigger as “Organization added”

Add the Pipedrive trigger to initiate your playbook's actions before adding organizations.

To do this, click "Add trigger" in your playbook.
Choose the "Organization added" trigger from the Pipedrive options. It will enable your playbook to automatically identify newly added organizations and trigger necessary actions.

If you have yet to connect your Pipedrive account to Relay, a prompt will guide you through the connection process.

Add the “Send envelope from template” in DocuSign step

Integrate the DocuSign automation into your playbook to ensure the prompt sending of envelopes.

Select "Add step," then locate the "Send envelope from template" automation for DocuSign, then choose a template (an example is "NDA") and input the relevant details, such as Email subject, Email body, Party A email, Party A name, Party B email, and Party B name.

If your DocuSign account isn't connected to Relay, you will be prompted to complete that connection. Make sure to allow the necessary permissions for Relay to send envelopes through your DocuSign account.

Activate your playbook

Activating your playbook is the final step. Once turned on, it will respond to send DocuSign envelopes for new Pipedrive organizations without manual intervention.

To enable your playbook, click the toggle button located in the header. It is advisable to perform a test run of your playbook beforehand to ensure all steps work seamlessly together.
