1

Add the Salesforce trigger

Every playbook starts with a trigger. This trigger detects the new opportunity that reached to the specific stage.

Click "Add trigger" and select "Opportunity stage reached" under Salesforce. Then, select the stage. If this is your first time using a Salesforce integration in Relay, you'll be prompted to connect your Salesforce account.

Now, every time an opportunity stage is reached in Salesforce, your playbook will run automatically.

2

Add the Coda "Add row to table" automation

Now all the opportunities reached in "Closed Lost stage" in Salesforce will automatically create a new row in your Coda table. Add a new step and select "Add row to table" from the list of Coda automations.

Connect Coda to Relay if you haven't already, then fill out the necessary details. You can reference fields from Salesforce to automatically pass along the right data.

3

Turn on the playbook

When you are done with the playbook, it's time to turn it on.

The playbook will now run automatically whenever an opportunity stage is reached in Salesforce. You can also click "Check now" to do a manual check whenever you'd like.
