How to automate sending a DocuSign envelope when a new row is added in Google Sheets

Add the Google Sheets trigger to initiate your playbook's actions before adding rows.

To do this, click "Add trigger" in your playbook. Select the "New row added" trigger option from the dropdown menu under Google Sheets. It will enable your playbook to identify newly added rows and trigger necessary actions automatically.

If you have yet to connect your Google Sheets account to Relay.app, a prompt will guide you through the connection process.

Integrate the DocuSign automation into your playbook to ensure you can send an envelope from a template in DocuSign when a row is added in Google Sheets.

Click the "Add step" button, then locate the "Send envelope from template" automation for DocuSign and input the mandatory and relevant details.

If your DocuSign account isn't already connected to Relay.app, you will be prompted to complete that connection. Make sure to allow the necessary permissions for Relay.app to sync with your DocuSign account.

Activating your playbook is the final step to automate sending the DocuSign envelope. Once turned on, it will respond to every new row added to Google Sheets by sending the specific envelope of DocuSign without manual intervention.

To enable your playbook, click the toggle button located in the header. It is advisable to perform a test run of your playbook beforehand to ensure all steps work seamlessly together and reminders are being sent correctly.
