1

Add the Front "Message sent" trigger

Every playbook starts with a trigger. The trigger detects changes in your connected apps and runs your playbook in response.

Click "Add trigger" and select "Message sent" under Front. Then, select the Inbox. This trigger will detect all the new sent messages in the Front to add new rows in Google Sheets.

If this is your first time using a Front integration in Relay, you'll be prompted to connect your Front account.

2

Add the Google Sheets "Add row to sheet" automation

Integrate the Google Sheets automation into your playbook to ensure the prompt addition of a new row to a Google Sheets document for each message sent in Front. Add a new step and select "Add row to sheet" from the list of Google Sheets automations.

Connect Google Sheets to Relay if you haven't already, then fill out the mandatory and relevant details. You can reference fields from Front to automatically pass along the right data.

3

Turn on the playbook

Activating your playbook is the final step to automate adding a new row in Google Sheets for every message sent in Front. Once turned on, it will respond to every message sent in Front by adding a new row in Google Sheets without manual intervention.

To enable your playbook, click the toggle button located in the header. It is advisable to perform a test run of your playbook beforehand to ensure all steps work seamlessly together and reminders are sent correctly.
