1

Add the Trello "Card added" trigger

Every playbook starts with a trigger. The trigger detects changes in your connected apps and runs your playbook in response.

Click "Add trigger" and select "Card added" under Trello. Then, select the list. This trigger will automatically detect all the new cards added in Trello to create a new client in Harvest.

If this is your first time using a Trello integration in Relay, you'll be prompted to connect your Trello account.

2

Add the Harvest "Get or create client" automation

Integrate the Harvest automation into your playbook to ensure the prompt creation of a new client in Harvest for every new card added in Trello. Add a new step and select "Get or create client" from the list of Harvest automations.

Connect Harvest to Relay if you haven't already, then fill out the mandatory and relevant details. You can reference fields from Trello to automatically pass along the right data.

3

Turn on the playbook

Activating your playbook is the final step to automate creating a new client in Harvest for every new card added in Trello. Once turned on, it will respond to a new card added in Trello by creating a new client in Harvest without manual intervention.

To enable your playbook, click the toggle button located in the header. It is advisable to perform a test run of your playbook beforehand to ensure all steps work seamlessly together and reminders are sent correctly.
