How to create a new Salesforce contact from a new project in Todoist

Set the Todoist trigger as "New project added"

Every playbook starts with a trigger. The trigger detects changes in your connected apps and runs your playbook in response.

Click "Add trigger" and select "New project added" under Todoist automation. This will allow your playbook to automatically detect new projects added in Todoist and initiate necessary actions.

If this is your first time using a Todoist integration in Relay, you'll be prompted to connect your Todoist account.

Add the "Get or create contact" in Salesforce automation

Integrate the Salesforce automation into your playbook to ensure the prompt creation of a new contact for each project added in Todoist.

Select the "Add step" button, then locate the "Get or create contact" automation for Salesforce and input the mandatory and relevant details.

If your Salesforce account isn't already connected to Relay.app, you will be prompted to complete that connection. Make sure to allow the necessary permissions for Relay.app to sync with your Salesforce account.

Activate your Relay.app playbook

Activating your playbook is the final step to automate the creation of new contacts in Salesforce. Once turned on, it will respond to new project created in Todoist by creating a new contact in Salesforce without manual intervention

To enable your playbook, click the toggle button located in the header. It is advisable to perform a test run of your playbook beforehand to ensure all steps work seamlessly together and reminders are being sent correctly.
